Construction Manager - Algeria (Construction) - Permanent
Scope- Executing the project construction activities (or part thereof), in line with the project specifications, scope of work, schedule, and client requirements. Leads a team of construction superintendents, and manages the construction subcontractor’s construction managers in completing the subcontracted works, while maintaining the required HSE and Quality standards. Represents Client during the execution of the construction works
 
 
Role - Review and understand the project HSE and Quality requirement, scope of work, specifications, and project overall schedule.
Prepares Construction Management Organisation chart, identify key positions, and prepares mobilisation plan, in coordination with Project Director (or Field Project Manager).
Establish clear definition of responsibilities for the construction management personnel.
Reviews and leads the implementation of the project HSE & Quality plans.
Contribute to project constructability review workshops at home office during engineering activities, in coordination with construction support engineer, and subcontractor’s construction managers.
Prepares, in coordination with construction subcontractor’s managers, and the project director, the subcontracting and mobilisation plan.
Prepares the construction schedule in conjunction with the planning engineers with details on specific activities and respective dates of completion.
Ensure the mobilization of all labor, materials and equipment in the most cost effective and efficient manner to achieve the construction objectives.
Commence the construction as per guidelines set and ensure the completion of the same as per the above plan.
Leads the construction management team, fostering continuous inter-discipline coordination to ensure the smooth completion of all activities with minimum interruptions & reworks.
Promotes excellent working relationships with construction subcontractor team members.  
Ensures continuous construction work fronts availability through preparation and review of look ahead schedules , commodity charts ,  engineering deliverables and material delivery schedules  
Constantly identify bottlenecks for progress on construction and proactively take action to resolve the same.
Chairs daily , weekly & monthly internal meetings , and ensures action points are liquidated in a timely manner
Carry out any other duties as directed by the reporting supervisor.
Continuously assess, with the QC & HSE managers, the status of Construction Quality & HSE, and ensures timely closures of corrective actions & non conformances. 
Coordinate and liaison with client/contractor and certifying and regulatory authorities in order to ensure that the project is in compliance with all requirements.
Ensures proper and timely hand over of systems / subsystems to commissioning teams, and provide assistance as required.
Continuous performance assessment of subordinates, giving them feed back on their performances, their strengths and weaknesses, giving them clear guidance on areas where they should improve. Ensures that this system is cascaded down in his organization at site.  
Reviews lessons learned recorded by construction superintendents, chairs review sessions, and raise the final list to superior for further action.  
 Education - Engineering Degree in Mechanical / Civil, with a minimum of 20 years experience in Construction.

Drilling Specialist / Onshore - Libya (Oil & Gas) - Contract
Requires sound onshore drilling knowledge, with some GRP experience, acting as a consultant to the owner, and supervising and controlling activities of the contractors. This will include approving and accepting each job. Will involves drilling up to depths of 900 metres.
Long term (up to 3 years) requirement, working a 2 month / 1 month rotation,

Nokia RAN Engineer - Germany (Telecoms) - Contract
We have a live role for a Nokia RAN Engineer. You will be the first point of contact on RAN related availability issues. Our client requires a committed individual to ensure standards according to SLA's and internal KPI's. You will take charge of network faults and service outages managing the full resolution process. Solid experience of 2G/3G Radio Access Networks ideally with experience of Nokia 3G RAN Equipment is best. We need someone with strong initiative to manage the fault finding process.
 
 
Project Manager Energy Solutions - Middle East (Telecoms) - Contract
Project Manager. Our client urgently needs a project manager to help support their new roll out in Kuwait of an Energy Management System for telecommunication sites. You must have experience of carrying out site surveys and energy audits, as well as order and logistic management. A background in Telecommunications is essential. You will have experience of rectifiers, installation and commissioning of electrical equipment and battery packs on BTS sites. This role is initially for 3 months but will be intended to go on for up to one year.
 
HLR Customer Services Engineer - Germany (Telecoms) - Contract
HLR Customer Service Engineer; our client in Germany is urgently looking for a Customer Service Engineer to support them with the following duties: Installation of Hotfix (SW-Update/New Releases) New installation of the server Troubleshooting Perform acceptance tests Perform extension work (Hardware & Software & Feature) Handling and answering of HLRd specific technical queries Issuing and updating of technical nodes Perform temporary the on site support at the customer You must have extensive Telecommunications skills and preferably have knowledge of Vendor equipment like Nokia Siemens. The role is for 3 months initially, with high likelihood of extending beyond this. NOC Manager - Middle East & Europe (Telecoms) - Contract
NOC Manager Our client urgently needs a NOC Manager with experience of Huawei equipment. Additionally you should have experience of the Huawei Soft Switch, IN and VAS from Amdocs, NEC transmission and Huawei BSS. Your role will be to set up processes and KPI's to ensure that the vendors are working to set plans. You will be responsible for trouble tickets, analysing reports and monitoring the overall system. This is initially a 3 month role with the potential of extending.

Supply/Procurement Manager - our client is urgently looking for a supply manager. Apart from managing the supplies within their organisation, the role will also involve you setting up and managing tender processes, managing suppliers, dealing with internal requirements and taking care of the entire administration tasks. Knowledge and background of a technical environment will be useful for this role, as many of the requirements you will be dealing with will be from the technical divisions. Of particular interest is a background in telecommunications companies. For this role, the client is seeking someone with excellent negotiation and team leading skills and proven track record of at least 3 years within a procurement division. Additionally, candidates must be able to speak English fluently, French would be a distinct advantage. The role is intended to be for a permanent position, however the client will look at contractors.

The Piping & Lay-out department of our client is responsible for engineering covering multi discipline lay-out, engineering, detail design piping and pipe support, shop engineering, field engineering and mechanical completion. The IT/IS portfolio used by the discipline are PDMS, Microstation, StaadPro, Cesar ll, IFS and others. Our clients PMT department serves Process, Mechanical and Technical Safety business areas within the Engineering and Procurement Division. Our personnel are involved in all aspects of the projects, such as studies, feed engineering, detail engineering, fabrication, construction, testing, commissioning and follow-up of projects. To ensure that all projects are executed to a high technical standard, the engineering team employs highly qualified multidiscipline specialists and engineers. All personnel possess necessary certificates for offshore work. The PMT department counts 14 engineers, but with the amount of ongoing activities and future prospects we seek to increase this team ASAP with process engineers.
