May 2008 Re-focus on Agency Consulting During TalkPool's first years after the start in Y2K, times- and materials consulting constituted 90% of the total business. As O&M services and network rollout projects increased, the focus on providing technical experts and project managers to prime clients was gradually reduced to a low of 10% of TalkPool's business at the end of last year.
In the third quarter of 2007, TalkPool hired the experienced Agency Director Björn Milz (bm@talkpool.com) to head the Group Consulting business and Björn has since then been building a team with unique industry skills. TalkPool has in the last half year on average added one consultant per week and the growth pace for the agency is projected to increase in the second half of 2008 and next year.
TalkPool's Agency focus is on technical communication specialists with unique skills ranging from Project and Programme Management, CRM and Billing specialists, through to RAN Integration and equipment swaps. We are now able to support our clients with all their requirements: whether you are rolling out a new mobile or fixed network, improving your internal communication infrastructure, or hiring specialists to develop your CRM systems, we can help you.
Finally, within the re-launched consulting business, we are able to provide permanent / executive search capabilities and managed recruitment services to support the entire hiring needs of our clients.
