Telecel O&M contract

Orascom owned operator Telecel Zimbabwe has outsourced it's mobile network site maintenance to TalkPool.
Telecel awarded TalkPool a trial outsourcing contract in April 2010. Site Audits and “quick-fix” repairs have been made by TalkPool on all sites. TalkPool has introduced new systems that enables remote management of passive equipment and reduction of fuel/maintenance costs. Within 2 months, Telecel has obtained improved visibility of their network and a realistic plan for reducing costs while improving network availability. Performance reviews and negotiation of a long-term outsourcing agreement is ongoing.
