TalkPool started in the end of year 2000. Half a year later, TalkPool won its first order in Sweden and its international headquarters was established in Switzerland. In spite of difficult times in the telecom network market, TalkPool has grown organically to an international telecom network services group with activities on all continents.
In Europe, TalkPool has hubs in Sweden and Switzerland. TalkPool specialise on bringing next generation technology to developing countries and the geographic focus is on Latin America and Africa.
Latin America including the Caribbean is TalkPool’s most important market since the first rollout projects in Nicaragua and Grenada in 2003. We have helped vendors and operators to Roll-Out and Maintain networks on most of the islands in the Caribbean and counties in Central America. Today the company has Latin American hubs in Haiti and Mexico.
Africa in general and East Africa in particular has been a key market for TalkPool for many years. Since 2007 we have a permanent presence in the region with activities in Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Chad, South Africa etc. TalkPool has African hubs in Mauritius, Uganda, Tanzania and Zimbabwe.
TalkPool has worked in countries such as Japan, China, Australia, Iran and Saudi Arabia. However, a strategical decision has been taken to reduce market presence in Asia in order to focus more on Africa and Latin America.
